Getting to Plot No. 41 in Parwana Vihar isn't always the easiest trip if you don't know the way. We are out on Ajmer Road in the Gajsinghpura area, right by the Heerapura Power House. You can see the big power lines from our front door. It’s a bit dusty around here because of the road construction that seems to never end, but it’s our spot. We set up Lecturar here because the space was available and it wasn't too expensive. The office is basically just one large room where we’ve shoved all our equipment. It gets dusty fast, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the tables every morning. We don’t have a receptionist or anyone like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us leaning back in a chair or typing away. We usually have the radio on in the background, playing whatever station has the least static. In the summer, the heat is pretty intense, but we’ve got a decent cooler that keeps us from melting. We aren’t trying to be the biggest name in Jaipur or anything. We just want to finish our work so we can go home and beat the traffic on Ajmer Road. It’s a long commute for most of us, so we try to be efficient with our time while we are here. It’s just a regular workplace with regular people doing regular things every day.
