Laxmi Novelty Corner

Our little place, Laxmi Novelty Corner, is right across from the police station on Ajmer Road in Sodala. It is a good landmark because everyone knows where the station is, but the traffic out front can be a real mess during the busy hours. We spend a lot of time just watching the cars and buses crawl by. The shop has been in this spot for a long time. It is not a huge space, but we have learned how to use every inch of it. Most of our mornings start the same way, unlocking the heavy gate and making sure everything is where it should be. Since we are in Sodala, there is always something going on right outside our door. Sometimes the noise from Ajmer Road gets to be a bit much, but you just get used to the sound of it after a while. We are not trying to be anything fancy or corporate. It is just a corner shop where we keep things simple and honest. We know a lot of the regulars who walk by on their way to work every morning. People often stop in just because they are passing by the police station anyway. We do not have a big office or a marketing team. It is just us standing behind the counter most of the day. Sometimes we run out of room for new stuff, so things look a bit crowded on the shelves. We just try to keep things moving. Sodala is a busy place, and we are right in it.
