Laxmi Mobile & Gift Corner

Our shop, Laxmi Mobile & Gift Corner, is at number 18 near Ajmeri Gate on M I Road. It’s a very busy spot because Ajmeri Gate is a major landmark and there is always a lot of traffic. We decided to do a bit of both—mobile accessories and gifts—because that’s what people around here seem to need. You’ll find rows of mobile covers and chargers alongside shelves of statues and clocks. It’s a narrow shop, so we have to be very organized with how we store things. We spend a lot of time behind the counter, helping people pick out a new case for their phone or a nice gift for a family function. The noise from the street is something you never really get away from, but it becomes like background music after a while. We don't have any polished marketing or a corporate feel. It’s just a local shop where we try to keep things practical. We usually have a small radio playing to help pass the time when it’s quiet. Most of our customers are people passing through the gate or those who work in the nearby shops. We enjoy the mix of people we meet every day. Sometimes we stay open a bit later if the street is still busy. We’ve been here at number 18 for a while, and we’ve seen the area change quite a bit. But our little corner stays pretty much the same, just keeping the shelves full and the doors open for whoever stops by.
