Laxmi General Store

Our little shop, Laxmi General Store, is tucked into the Shyam Nagar area of Sodala. We are right off New Sanganer Road, which stays pretty busy with traffic heading toward the Jaipur G P O. It’s a decent spot to be in, even if it gets a bit noisy during the rush hours. We’ve been running this place as a family for some time. We keep all the regular general items you’d expect—soaps, grains, snacks for the kids, and bits and pieces for the house. It’s not a supermarket, just a local store where you can reach the owner across the counter. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy when a big delivery comes in, but we sort it out eventually. We know our regulars by their faces and what they usually buy. Jaipur is a fast-growing city, but in this corner of Shyam Nagar, things feel a bit more traditional. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing. We just open the doors every morning and see who comes in. Sometimes it's a neighbor needing change, other times it's a traveler looking for a bottle of water. We try to keep the prices fair and the service straightforward. If we don’t have something, we usually tell you where else you might find it. It's just how we do things here. We just want to keep the shelves full and the neighbors happy.
