Lal Bahadur Shastri Post Graduate College

You can find our college right on the National Highway, on the stretch that connects Delhi and Jaipur. Being located on such a major road means there is always a lot of traffic and activity right outside our gates. We are a post graduate college, so our students are generally a bit older and quite focused on their advanced degrees. We have people coming in from all parts of Jaipur and even from the smaller villages along the highway. The building is a large, solid structure that has been here for quite many years. Having the highway right there is actually pretty convenient because the local buses stop frequently, making it easy for students to get here. The campus has some old trees that provide a bit of shade, which is a relief during the hot Rajasthan summers. It isn't a modern glass building; it is a traditional brick and concrete place with a lot of history. We have a library and a main office where the staff handles the admissions and the exam forms. Things get very busy around the middle of the year when the exams start. You will often see groups of students sitting on the walls or the steps talking about their lessons. We don't do much in terms of advertising because most people in the area already know where we are. It is a simple place for higher education, and we just keep things running smoothly day after day without much fuss.
