Kec International Ltd.

The Kec International Ltd. office is over on B-12, Satya Nagar, right along the Khatipura Road in Jaipur. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there is always something going on outside our window. We’ve been here for a while and the building has become very familiar to us, with its slightly creaky stairs and the way the light hits the front windows in the afternoon. It is not a very big space, but it fits everyone we need to have here. We don't have fancy leather chairs or glass conference rooms. Instead, we have wooden desks that have seen a lot of use and shelves that are mostly full of binders and reference books. The location is pretty convenient for anyone coming in from the Jaipur-12 area, and we usually have someone around from early morning until the evening. We try to keep things simple here. There’s no big corporate hierarchy where you have to jump through hoops to get an answer. If someone needs something, they just walk over to the next desk and ask. It’s a practical way to run things. Sometimes we talk about the local news or the weather while we are waiting for the kettle to boil. It’s just a normal workplace with normal people trying to do a good job with the tasks we have in front of us. We are just glad to have a steady place to work on Khatipura Road.
