Ganpati Engineering Industries

The shop at Ganpati Engineering Industries is located right in the middle of the Bais Godam area at C-27. It is a busy place to be because of the railway lines and all the commercial traffic constantly moving through the center of the city. We have been in this particular unit for years, and the walls are covered in marks from moving heavy parts around. There is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back because the workers need their breaks to keep going through the long shifts. Being at Bais Godam means we are close to everything, but it also means it is always noisy outside with the horns and the trains. Our floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the sound of the lathes never really stops until late evening. I spend a lot of time on the phone dealing with suppliers or just making sure the deliveries are going to show up on time. The office is just a partitioned corner of the main floor, so you can always hear exactly what is happening in the workshop while you are trying to write out bills. It is a practical setup that works for us. We do not have a big sign out front, just the address C-27 painted on the pillar. We focus on getting the machining done right so the parts fit like they are supposed to when they leave the yard.
