Kavita Stationary Gift & General Store

Kavita Stationary Gift & General Store is located right near the Senior Secondary School in Renwal Manji. Being on Diggi Road in the Main Bazar means we see a lot of students every single day. They come in for pens or notebooks before their classes start. We started this place because the village needed a spot that had a bit of everything. Besides the school stuff, we have gifts and general items that people need for their houses. It’s a local shop through and through. The building is simple, just like the rest of the bazar. When the school lets out, it gets really loud and crowded for about an hour. After that, it settles down and the older folks come by for their bits and pieces. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just talk to the people who walk through the door. Renwal is a quiet place mostly, but the bazar is where everything happens. We spend a lot of time sitting on the bench outside when it’s slow, watching the tractors and bikes go by. It’s a simple life running a store like this. We know almost everyone’s name who comes in. It’s not about being the biggest store, just about being here for the village. We keep the shelves full and try to help out whenever someone is looking for something. The afternoon sun hits the window hard, so we keep the blinds down. It's just part of the day.
