Kasturi Devi College,Chaksu

The college is located right near the main bus stand in Chaksu, which makes it a very noisy place to be during the day. You can hear the conductors shouting and the buses revving their engines all the time. It is a convenient spot, though, because students can just hop off the bus and walk straight into the gates. The building is a simple one, made of brick and concrete, with the name painted clearly on the front. We have a small courtyard in the middle where people sit between their classes. The classrooms are fairly basic, with rows of benches that have been there for quite some time. There is a small counter where students pay their fees or ask about their exam dates. It’s a busy environment. Since we are in 303901, we get a lot of people from the surrounding rural areas coming here for their education. The walls are a bit dusty because of the road being so close, but we try to keep it as clean as we can. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just the usual fans that spin slowly. It’s a practical place for getting a degree without any unnecessary extras. Sometimes the local market gets so crowded that it is hard to even get to the gate. We just take things as they come and keep the college running day by day. It’s a very local institution.
