Karan Pharmacueticals is up on the 2nd Floor, Shop No. 321. We are in the Dawa Bazar Complex, which is inside Film Colony on Choura Rasta in Jaipur. If you’ve ever been to Choura Rasta, you know how incredibly busy it is. There are people, rickshaws, and motorcycles everywhere. Getting up to the 2nd floor can be a bit of a climb because the stairs are narrow and people are always carrying boxes up and down. Our shop, number 321, is right in the thick of the Modikhana area. It’s a small space, crowded with stacks of medicines and paperwork. Dawa Bazar is famous for this kind of thing, so we are just one of many shops in the complex. It gets really hot in the summer because the building is old and the corridors don't get much breeze. We have a small desk where we do all the billing and a couple of stools for when we get a chance to sit down. Most of our day is spent answering the phone and pulling items from the shelves for orders. It’s a noisy, hectic environment, but that’s just how it is in Film Colony. We’ve been here long enough that the noise doesn't even bother us anymore. It’s a practical place to do business if you are in the trade and you don't mind the crowds and the stairs.
