Kalpana Machine Tools

Down here in the Ram Chandrapura Industrial Area, things are pretty industrial, as you might guess from the name. We are located at H-2159, right in the heart of Sanganer. It is a lot of concrete and metal around here. At Kalpana Machine Tools, we spend most of our time dealing with heavy equipment and the various parts that keep them running. It’s a dusty place, and there is no point in trying to keep it perfectly clean. You’ll see grease on the workbenches and tools scattered around because we are always in the middle of a job. We don’t have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll find one of us under a machine or leaning over a lathe trying to get a measurement right. We’ve been working with these tools for years, so we’ve seen just about every kind of break or wear and tear you can imagine. Some of the machines we work on are older than I am, but they still run if you treat them right and don't force them. Sanganer is a busy place for manufacturing, and we fit right in with the constant noise of the neighborhood. We try to be honest about how long a repair will take, even if it’s bad news for the customer. It’s better to just say it straight. When the sun goes down over the industrial park, we usually pack up, lock the heavy doors, and get ready to do it all again the next day.
