K K Memorial Iti

K K Memorial Iti is out on Goner Road. It is an industrial training institute where we teach practical skills. The building is a bit older and has that smell of grease and metal that you find in workshops. We have different sections for different trades. Students are usually busy working with their hands, using lathes or welding equipment. Goner Road is a bit out of the main city center, so it’s a little less crowded around here. We have a big open area where we keep some of the larger machinery. It gets quite dusty during the day because of the work we do. We aren't a polished college with a manicured lawn. We are a place where people come to learn how to actually do a job. The instructors are guys who have been in the industry for years and don't care much for fancy talk. They just show the students how to handle the tools. We have a small office near the entrance where we keep the records and student files. Sometimes the gate squeaks when it opens, and we keep meaning to oil it. It’s an honest place. People come here to get a trade so they can go out and work. That is what we have been doing since we opened our doors. The sun hits the front of the building hard in the afternoon, making the workshop feel very bright and warm.
