Jeypore Creations

Jeypore Creations is tucked away in Johri Bazar, specifically at Kukroo Ka Darwaja on Gee Walon Ka Rasta. If you know Jaipur, you know these lanes are narrow and full of history. We’ve been working out of this spot for quite some time. It’s a traditional area, and our shop reflects that. We don’t have a big glass front or air conditioning that works all the time. Instead, we have shelves full of our creations and a few old chairs for anyone who stops by. The neighborhood is always alive with the sound of motorcycles and people haggling nearby. Sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in because there’s so much stuff packed into the store, but that’s just the way it is in the old city. We spend our days making things and chatting with the people who walk through the door. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. If someone likes what we’ve made, they buy it. It’s a very simple, honest way to do things. Most of the people around here have known us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to keep making our items in the same way we always have. It’s a bit slow sometimes, and a bit messy, but it’s a good life in Johri Bazar. We just keep the door open and stay busy with our crafts.
