If you walk down Chaura Rasta, you will find us at number 30. Jayna Calendars & Plastics has been part of this street for a long time. This area is always crowded with people and scooters, which makes it feel very alive. Inside our shop, it’s mostly stacks of plastic goods and different types of calendars we’ve worked on. It smells a bit like fresh ink and plastic, a scent we don't even notice anymore. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the same faces you’ve seen for years. My father started things, and we just kept going along the same lines. We have a lot of regular customers from the nearby markets who come to us every year when it’s time for new calendars. The space is a bit tight because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand, but it works for what we need. We don't use any high-tech systems for tracking things; we mostly rely on our ledgers and memory. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when things are slow and watch the city go by. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it suits us and the people in Jaipur. We just want to provide what people need without any fuss or complicated talk.
