Jasoda Devi College

Jasoda Devi College is tucked away on Ganesh Marg in Bapu Nagar. We are located at B 22, which is really close to Subodh College, so people usually find us by using that as a landmark. Jaipur can get incredibly hot in the summer, and our building on this lane is where we spend our days. It’s a local college, nothing too flashy or over-the-top. Most of the people working here have been part of the Jaipur education scene for a while. We see students coming in from all over the city, navigating the traffic to get to Bapu Nagar. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we do keep a close eye on the classes. We don’t have a glossy brochure or a team of people writing fancy slogans. It’s just us, the teachers and the office staff, making sure the registers are signed and the lessons are taught. The street outside is usually busy with people going to the nearby colleges or shops. We like being in this part of town because it feels alive. Our rooms are basic, filled with desks and chairs that have seen a lot of students over the years. We just try to keep the place tidy and make sure everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. It’s a practical way to run a college, and it seems to work for the folks here in Jaipur. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day. It is just a normal Jaipur college.
