Jaipur Jewels & Handicrafts

Our place, Jaipur Jewels & Handicrafts, is tucked away in the B-2 Berathi Complex. It’s right in the Chamliwala Market area on M. I. Road. If you know M. I. Road, you know it's always crowded and moving with people and cars. We've been in this building for some time now. The complex itself is older, but it works for us and our needs. We have our jewelry and the various handicraft items set up in the back of the shop. It’s not a huge showroom with bright lights and mirrors, just a regular shop where we keep things organized the best we can. Sometimes the market gets so loud you can barely hear yourself think, but that’s just the charm of being in this part of town. We spend a lot of our morning just dusting off the displays because the road dust gets everywhere through the door. People stop in while they are doing their other shopping in the market nearby. We don’t do much advertising; mostly it’s just people seeing the sign or knowing the complex from years ago. It's a bit of a walk through the market to find the right door, but we are always there during the day. We handle the daily stuff ourselves, from unpacking boxes to helping people find a specific piece they might like. It’s a decent living and we enjoy the people who come by to chat. Every day is a bit different depending on who walks in off M. I. Road.
