Institute Of Engineers

The Institute Of Engineers is based right on Tonk Road. It’s a long road, but we are in a spot that most locals know. The building is a bit older and has that typical office feel from a few decades ago. We have a lot of books and old blueprints lying around in the back rooms. It’s not the most organized place, but we can find what we need if we look long enough. There are usually a couple of us here during the day handling the paperwork and talking to people who stop in. We don't use a lot of fancy software for everything; we still like using paper for a lot of our notes. Tonk Road gets quite a bit of traffic, so it can get noisy near the windows. We’ve been here for a while and haven't felt the need to move to a newer part of town. The air conditioning works most of the time, though it makes a loud humming sound. We don't have a receptionist in a fancy uniform. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. It’s a very straightforward setup. We focus on engineering things and keeping the records straight. People come to us when they have questions about technical stuff. It’s a quiet life for the most part, just regular work on Tonk Road. We have some old wooden chairs that squeak a bit when you sit down.
