Haritwal Pharma is right on Sikar Road in the Murlipura Scheme area. If you know that part of town, you know the traffic is constant and the noise of the main road is always there in the background. The shop sits in a line of other businesses, and we have a small sign out front that's been there since we opened. Inside, the layout is pretty simple. We have the counter at the front and shelves lining every available inch of wall space. I spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because the dust from Sikar Road is relentless. Murlipura is a busy residential area, so we get a lot of people stopping by on their way home from work. I do a lot of the lifting and moving of boxes myself. It’s a good way to stay active, I suppose. The computer we use for the billing is a bit old and takes its time to start up in the morning. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just make sure the medicine is there when someone comes asking for it. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to escape the sun for a minute. The floor is a bit worn out where people stand to wait. It’s a plain, hardworking shop that doesn't pretend to be anything else. We keep the inventory updated and try to stay on top of the orders.
