Gupta Gift House Stationers

Our shop, Gupta Gift House Stationers, is located right near the taxi stand in Malviya Nagar. It is a handy spot because there is always some movement outside with the drivers and people catching rides. We handle a mix of things here, mostly school supplies and different kinds of gift items. If a kid nearby runs out of pens or needs a notebook for school, they usually come running to us. We also keep a variety of things for birthdays or school projects. The shop isn't very large, and sometimes the boxes from the distributors sit near the door for a day or two before we get everything put away on the shelves. It’s just how it goes when you’re busy. We’ve been at 1/437 for years now, so the locals know us by name. We don't do much fancy advertising; we just stay open late enough for the office crowd coming back home. The shelves have everything from birthday cards to staplers and some toys. It gets a bit dusty because of the road, but we try to keep it clean. It's a simple life running a shop like this. We know which neighbors like which brand of paper and who is looking for a last-minute gift. It’s practical work. You can hear the taxis pulling in and out all day, which keeps us company even when the shop is quiet.
