Jhotwara Industrial Area is not the prettiest place to work, but it is where we have been for years. Our spot is in Surajv Nager and it is mostly just stacks of boxes and crates everywhere you look. The air is always a bit thick with dust from the nearby factories and all the trucks. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and checking on where the shipments are. It is a lot of manual work, moving things around to make space for new arrivals. The office is just a small corner with a desk that is piled high with receipts and old ledgers. Sometimes the computer acts up and we have to do everything by hand, which takes forever. People come in and out all day asking for prices or checking on their orders. We do not have a showroom or anything like that. It is a practical workspace. We try to keep things organized but in an industrial area like this, things get messy pretty fast. Surajv Nager has a lot of trucks moving through, so it is never really quiet. We take our tea breaks sitting on the loading dock when the sun isn't too hot. It is not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we know how to stay out of each other's way.
