Global Fisheries Private Limited

We are located on the 4th floor of Okay Plus Tower, which is right near the Kalyan Jewellers on Ajmer Road here in Jaipur. It’s a bit of a funny place for a fish business, being up in an office building like this, but Global Fisheries Private Limited does a lot of the logistical side of things. We aren't exactly standing in water all day here at room 402. Instead, we are on the phones and dealing with paperwork to make sure the fish get where they need to go. Jaipur gets incredibly hot in the summer, so the air conditioning in the tower is a blessing. We spend a lot of time looking at schedules and talking to suppliers from different places. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when a shipment is stuck somewhere, but that is just part of the trade. We have a small team and we all know each other well. It’s not a big corporate setup. We just have our desks and our files. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick snack or tea when things get quiet. Most people who visit the tower are going to the jewelry shop or other offices, so they are surprised when they hear we do fisheries. But the work has to happen somewhere, and this office works for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily grind of the fishing industry from the heart of the city.
