Being near Khasha Kothi Circle means we see a lot of tourists and locals every single day. The shop is at number 27 on M I Road, which is a pretty famous street in Jaipur. It’s not a huge place, but we try to keep it interesting. We have some local crafts, some boxed gifts, and things that look nice on a shelf. The traffic at the circle is never quiet. You can hear the horns all day. I usually drink three or four cups of tea while waiting for customers. The shop has these big windows that we have to clean every morning because of the city smog. We use a lot of brown paper for wrapping because it's sturdy. Sometimes I forget to order more bags and have to use whatever is left in the back room. It’s just me here most of the time. I like to rearrange the items when I’m bored. I’ll move the photo frames to the front and the clocks to the back. It makes the place feel new. People often stop in just to ask for directions since we are near the circle. I don't mind. It's good to talk to people. We stay open pretty late because M I Road stays busy well into the night. I keep a small stool by the door for when my legs get tired. The floor tiles are a bit chipped near the counter but it doesn't bother anyone.
