Gift & Toy

You can find us at 98 Fashion Street in Raja Park. The shop is called Gift & Toy, which is pretty straightforward. Raja Park is always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping or eating. Our shop is quite narrow, so we have to be smart about how we stack the toys. We have rows of dolls, board games, and those little battery-operated cars that make a lot of noise. Parents usually come in with their kids, and it can get a bit chaotic when three or four families are squeezed in at once. We don't have any air conditioning, just a couple of wall fans that work hard to keep the air moving. The shelves are made of simple wood and painted white, though they’ve yellowed over time. We keep the smaller gifts like keychains and pens near the front counter so people can grab them easily. It’s a lot of work keeping the toys organized because kids like to touch everything. We don't mind, though. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the families in the area. It’s just a small family-run spot where we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. Sometimes the stock stays for months, and other times things fly off the shelves. It’s just the way it goes on Fashion Street. We stay open late because that's when the people are actually out walking around.
