Economic Pharmacy

We are located in Mansarovar, specifically in the 82-90 block area. Economic Pharmacy is a small shop, but it is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes and bottles. It’s a bit of a maze inside if you don’t know where things are kept. We spend a lot of time searching through the shelves to find exactly what someone is looking for. The counter is usually covered in scraps of paper and notes from the morning shift. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly talking to neighbors who come in because they aren't feeling well. We know many of the faces around here because they have been coming to this part of Mansarovar for years. The shop has a big window in the front that lets in the street light, but most of the light comes from the long tube lights on the ceiling. One of them hums a little bit if it’s been on too long. We have a small stool behind the counter where we take turns sitting down when the legs get tired. There isn't any fancy decor or big advertisements in the window. Just the medicines and the usual supplies people need. It’s a basic shop for the local folks, and we try to keep it organized the best we can. The floor is made of old tiles that have faded over the years, but we sweep them every morning. Sometimes a customer comes in just to chat for a minute while they wait for their change. We don't mind the company at all. It makes the day go by faster when the shop is quiet and the street noise slows down in the evening.
