We operate out of F-167 in the Sarna Dungar Industrial area, which is near the Jhotwara Acsection on Benar Road. It’s a dusty place because we work with both wood and metal. You can’t really avoid the sawdust and the metal filings getting on everything. We spend our days cutting, sanding, and joining things together. It’s loud, and we usually have to shout to be heard over the saws. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. We just have the workshop where the work actually happens. Sometimes a piece of wood has a knot we didn't see, or the metal doesn't bend quite right, and we have to adjust. That’s just part of the trade. We aren't a corporate office with people in suits. We wear work clothes that get stained and torn. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we don't need to look at manuals much anymore. We just know how the materials behave. The area around Benar Road is full of factories like ours. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just focus on making sure the items are sturdy and the customer is okay with the result. It’s a lot of physical effort and we’re usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. But it’s good, honest work and it keeps the lights on. We lock up the gate every evening and come back to do it again the next morning. It’s a solid routine.
