We’ve been running Dev Agencies for quite some time now at Teja Chowk. It’s a really busy part of the old Sabji Mandi area. If you know the neighborhood, we are right near the Teja Ji Ka Temple. You can usually hear the temple bells from our doorway. Our shop isn’t anything special to look at. It’s just a place where we do our daily business and talk to our customers. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time for it. Every morning starts early here because the market wakes up before the sun is even fully out. We deal with various agencies and suppliers. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a short break, but mostly we are on our feet. The traffic outside is always a bit of a mess with all the rickshaws and delivery carts. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that. It’s just a handful of us making sure things get done. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. People come to us because we’ve been in this spot for years and they know where to find us. It gets pretty loud during the peak market hours, but you get used to the noise after a while. We just keep our heads down and focus on the work. It’s a simple life here in the mandi.
