Commerce Study Center

We are located at 120 Nand Vihar on Shyopur Road. If you know Pratap Nagar, you know it gets very busy around here. Our rooms are filled with students for most of the day. They come in with their heavy bags and sit at the wooden desks. We spend a lot of time looking at accountancy problems and talking about business studies. It is not a very fancy place, just white walls and some fans that click a bit when they turn. Sometimes the noise from the road comes inside, but we just talk louder so everyone can hear. We have stacks of old papers in the corner and a big whiteboard that never quite stays white no matter how much we scrub it. Most of our day is just explaining things again and again until everyone gets it. We drink a lot of tea from the stall nearby while we wait for the next batch of students to arrive. The floor gets dusty because of all the feet coming in and out, so we have to sweep it every evening before we lock up. It feels like a second home to some of the kids who stay late to finish their work. We don't have much to show off, just the books and the chairs and the people who come here to learn. It’s a simple routine that we’ve been doing for a while now. We keep the doors open when it's not too hot outside.
