Chothmal Kirana Store

Chothmal Kirana Store is a small grocery shop tucked away in the Mansarovar area. It’s the kind of place where you can just pop in for a loaf of bread, some spices, or milk. We don’t have a massive warehouse, so we just keep what we know the neighbors will need. The shop is fairly simple, with wooden shelves and a small counter where we handle all the transactions. It can get a bit crowded inside if more than three people show up at once, but everyone is usually patient. We spend our mornings checking the stock and writing down what we need to order for the next day. Mansarovar is a nice place to have a shop because the people are generally quite friendly and look out for each other. We’ve had this store for some time now and it’s become a bit of a daily routine for us. We open the shutters early in the morning before most people are even awake. It’s a bit of a quiet life, but we like the independence of running our own kirana store. We don’t do any fancy marketing or have a big sign out front, just a place that’s been here long enough that everyone knows the way. It’s just us doing our best to provide the basics for the people living nearby and making sure they have what they need.
