R. R. Traders

R. R. Traders is located at No. 4126 on Topkhane Ka Rasta in Chandpole Bazar. We are right in front of the Sitla Mata Mandir, which makes it easy for people to find us in the middle of all the market chaos. Chandpole is one of those old-school Jaipur markets where you can find almost anything if you look hard enough. Our shop is a traditional space with high ceilings and shelves that go all the way up. We trade in various goods and have been doing it for a long time. The street outside is always full of rickshaws, cows, and tourists, so it never gets quiet. We usually have the temple bells ringing in the background, which is a nice sound to work to. We don't use any fancy computers or systems; we mostly rely on our old ledgers and our memory. Dealing with the local traders and the people coming from nearby villages is what we do all day. We sit on the floor cushions or small stools and talk business over tea. It’s a very personal way of working. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because of all the bags and boxes, but we know where everything is. We are part of the old city fabric, and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done in the shadow of the temple.
