Calculation

Calculation is located at Plot No 31/29 in the Sector 3 Shopping Centre in Pratap Nagar. Being so close to Kendriya Vidyalaya 6 means we see a lot of students in their uniforms walking by every afternoon. The shopping centre is a bit of a hub for this part of the neighborhood. Our space is pretty straightforward. We have a few rooms set up for different subjects, and there’s always a bit of a scramble to find a working stapler or enough scrap paper for everyone. The floors are tiled and easy to sweep, which is good because people bring in a lot of dirt from the street. I usually sit near the front to keep an eye on things. It’s not a quiet library environment; there’s always the sound of people talking through problems or the hum of the nearby shops. We have some old posters on the walls and a clock that’s always two minutes fast, but we haven't bothered to fix it yet. It’s a busy little corner of Jaipur. Sometimes parents stop by to chat while they wait for their kids, and we end up talking about the weather or the price of groceries. It’s just a regular local spot where the focus is on the work on the table. Nothing more, nothing less. We keep the lights on late and make sure the door is locked before heading home.
