Blade Brains

Ram Path in Shyamnagar is actually a pretty quiet street compared to the main roads. Our office at F-94 is where we spend most of our waking hours. We call ourselves Blade Brains, which sounds a bit sharper than we actually feel on a Monday morning. It’s a small operation here. We have a couple of rooms filled with computers and half-finished projects. We don't really do the whole suit-and-tie thing. Usually, you’ll find us in jeans, arguing about a design or a piece of writing. The neighborhood is nice because there are a few good tea stalls nearby where we take our breaks. It helps to get out of the office and clear our heads. People think creative work is just waiting for an idea to hit, but mostly it's just sitting there and trying things until something works. We aren't trying to be the biggest agency in Jaipur, just trying to do work that doesn't feel boring. We’ve got some plants in the corner that we forget to water sometimes, and the bookshelves are a mess. It’s a real office with real people. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the hum of the AC and the sound of someone typing away. It's a simple setup but it works for what we do. We like being in Shyamnagar; it feels like a good middle ground for everything. We've been here long enough that even the local delivery guys know us.
