Bharat Deprtmental Store

Bharat Deprtmental Store is sitting right at Plot No A-6 in Hanuman Nagar. We are quite close to the Yafo Bank on Khatipura Road, which is how most people find their way to us. It is a good location because the bank brings in a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The store itself is packed with all sorts of things, from snacks to household items. We do not have a massive warehouse, so we use every inch of space we have on the shelves. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped, especially when we get a big delivery and have to find a spot for all the boxes. The floor is made of old tile that has been worn smooth by years of people walking over it. We have a big fan that hums loudly in the corner to keep the air moving during the summer months. Hanuman Nagar is a quiet enough residential area, but being so close to Khatipura Road means there is always a bit of energy in the air. We know most of the families who live nearby. They come in for their daily supplies and we usually end up talking about the local news or how the kids are doing in school. It is a simple life running a store like this. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next person to walk in and say hello.
