Arun Engineers

Arun Engineers is tucked away at S 2/24 on VKIA Road No 1. This area is mostly workshops and factories, so the sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much the background music of our lives. We’ve got a small workshop filled with lathes, drills, and bits of scrap metal scattered around the corners. It’s a bit cramped, but we know where everything is. Most days are spent looking at drawings and trying to figure out the best way to cut or weld something. We don't have a fancy reception area or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, if the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands on a rag and picks it up. People come to us when they have a part that broke or need something custom made that they can't find in a store. We take our time with the measurements because if you mess that up, the whole thing is ruined. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the machines. We drink a lot of water and try to keep the fans going. It’s just us here, doing engineering work the old-fashioned way. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town, just a reliable one where the work gets done correctly without too much fuss or extra cost. It is just a matter of showing up and being honest.
