Aquabey Maritime Academy Private Limited

Being a maritime academy in a place like Jaipur might seem a bit odd to some people since we're nowhere near the ocean. But here we are at 57, Shakti Nagar, right near the Gopalpura By Pass. Aquabey Maritime Academy has been operating from this spot for some time now. Noise from the traffic coming off the bypass can get pretty loud outside, but inside it's usually quiet enough to get things done. We have different rooms set up for the various parts of the training. Instead of a huge building, it’s just a practical space where we can teach what needs to be taught. Most of the staff here have spent time away at sea or worked in the industry, so we know what the life is like. Days are spent going over charts, talking about safety, and making sure the students know their stuff before they head out to the coast. Honestly, it’s a lot of sitting at desks and looking at manuals. Shakti Nagar was our choice because it’s easy for people to reach. Sometimes the tea stall down the street is the highlight of the afternoon break. Putting on airs isn't something we do. It’s just a training center where people come to learn a trade and hopefully get a good start in their careers. Plain walls and a few maps are about all you'll see inside.
