Ankur Battery

Ankur Battery is located at 27 Vkia Manu Vihar on Road No 17. Being in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area means we are surrounded by a lot of noise and heavy machinery. Our workshop is a practical space designed for batteries and nothing else. The floors are hard concrete and they are stained with various marks from years of work. We have racks full of different batteries and tools scattered across the workbenches. It isn't the kind of place where you would want to wear nice clothes because you are bound to get some grease or dust on them. We spend our days testing units and moving heavy items around. It gets very hot in the afternoons, especially since the roof is made of metal sheets. We have a small cooler that helps a bit, but mostly we just get used to the sweat. Road No 17 is always full of trucks and delivery vans, so there is a constant sound of engines idling outside. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone comes in, they just talk to whoever is free. It’s a very hands-on environment. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just know how to handle the equipment and we do it every day. It’s a bit of a rough area, but it suits the kind of work we do.
