Amol Pharma Citizen Private Limited is situated in Pratap Nagar, on Kumabha Marg in Sanganer. This area has grown a lot lately, so the shop stays pretty active with all the new houses and people moving in. The building is a standard concrete structure with a wide shutter that we roll up every morning. Inside, the space is filled with tall shelves and a long glass counter where I spend most of my day. It’s a bit of a walk to the back where we keep the bulkier items. Sanganer can be quite busy and the road outside is often loud with trucks and bikes. I spend a lot of my time checking the batches of medicine that come in from the suppliers. My handwriting on the labels isn't the best, but I can read it just fine. We don't have any shiny marketing materials on the walls, just a calendar and some notes about stock. The air is always a bit warm despite the fans. People around Pratap Nagar are mostly working-class, so they appreciate that we just get on with things. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on the counter that I forget to drink until it's cold. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We try to keep everything in its right place, though the stacks of invoices sometimes get a bit high.
