Alpha Studio

Being at Shop No. 15 near the Badpipli Bus Stand means there is always a crowd outside. We see a lot of people traveling to Fun City or just waiting for their bus on Sikar Road. The studio isn't very big, but it fits what we need. Most days it’s just us handling the cameras and making sure the lighting is okay. People come in for all sorts of things, like quick photos for documents or sometimes families show up in their nice clothes for a portrait. We spend a lot of time sitting at the computer doing the editing work. It can be tiring on the eyes after a few hours of staring at the screen. The bus stand noise is always in the background, with horns and people shouting. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, which is annoying but that’s just how it is in this area. We’ve got a couple of different backdrops we use. It gets a bit cramped when a big group comes in at once. We try to keep the place clean, but dust from the main road always finds a way in. We aren't trying to be some high-end fashion place. We just take photos that people need. It’s a simple business. We know the regular shopkeepers around here. Sometimes we grab a tea from the stall next door while waiting for prints to finish. It’s a decent way to spend the day.
