Agarwal Electronics

Walking into our shop at Khatipura, you’ll notice that we have stuff stacked almost to the ceiling in some parts. We occupy units 61-62 in Chand Bihari Nagar, which gives us a bit more room than some of the other shops nearby, but it still feels full. Agarwal Electronics has been around this area for a while, and we mostly deal with whatever parts people are looking for. The counter is usually covered with different components or someone’s radio that needs a bit of looking at. Behind the main desk, we have rows of small drawers labeled with different types of fuses, capacitors, and wires. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is located across the 61-62 space. Chand Bihari Nagar can get quite dusty, so we are always wiping down the glass displays in the morning before the customers start arriving. We don’t use any fancy computer systems for our inventory; we just keep a large ledger book where we write down what comes in and what goes out each day. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching the traffic on the Khatipura road, while other days we have people coming in one after another. There’s a small bench for customers to sit on while they wait for us to find a specific part. It’s a basic business, just focused on keeping the shelves stocked with the various things that folks need.
