Our business, Affiance Drugs And Formulation, is located in the Sodala area. It’s a central part of the city and it makes it easy for us to get around. We don't have a very large space, just a few rooms where we handle the daily operations. Most of what we do involves the formulation side, so there’s a lot of focus on the details of the products. It’s not a place where people just walk in to buy a single tablet. It’s more of a professional workspace. We spend a lot of time checking the labels and ensuring the batches are logged correctly. The atmosphere in Sodala is always energetic. There are a lot of other businesses around us, so there is always someone moving something or a delivery truck blocking the way for a minute. We have a small staff and we all pretty much do a bit of everything. One day you might be at the desk, and the next you're helping move crates. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear comfortable clothes and just get to work. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy to worry about that. We just focus on the task at hand and making sure the orders are filled correctly. There's always a bit of tea around and we just keep the day moving until it's time to close up.
