Aditya Spices Market

You can find us at Plot No. 37/1 in Sodala. We are quite close to New Sanganer Road, so it isn't too hard to find if you know the area. Aditya Spices Market is basically a family-run operation. We spend most of our time dealing with bags of whole spices and grinders. The building itself is just a plain structure, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it's usually quite dusty from all the grinding we do. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us covered in spice dust or moving crates around. We started this because there was a need for it in the neighborhood. The traffic on New Sanganer Road can be a real headache in the afternoons, which makes deliveries a bit of a gamble. We don't really do much talking; we just focus on the work. Some days are slower than others. We have a few old machines that we have to kick every now and then to keep them running. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps the family together. We don't really have a big plan for the future, we just take it one day at a time and hope the electricity doesn't go out during a big order. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the only reason we take a break at all.
