Abacus Peripherals

Indira Bazar is always a bit chaotic, and our shop at B-77 is right in the middle of it. Abacus Peripherals is packed from floor to ceiling with boxes of keyboards, mice, and webcams. There’s barely enough room for two people to stand in the aisle sometimes because we keep getting new stock in. We spend a lot of the day climbing up and down ladders to reach the stuff on the top shelves. The light isn't great at the back of the shop, so we use a flashlight when we're looking for specific parts. It’s loud outside with all the shoppers and other shopkeepers shouting, but inside we just focus on the orders. We have a small counter where we test the items before people take them home. It’s a bit of a mess with all the cardboard and tape lying around, but we know where everything is. The fans hum along all day to keep the air moving in the cramped space. We don't have a fancy computer system for the shop, just a handwritten book where we note down what we sold. It’s a very old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. By the time evening rolls around, the street is even busier, and we usually have to squeeze past people just to close the front gate. It’s a small, honest shop that’s been part of this market for years now.
