Abacus Consultancy

We are Abacus Consultancy, located at 16, Barwara House in Civil Lines, which is a fairly quiet area of Jaipur. The building has a bit of history to it, unlike the newer blocks popping up elsewhere. Working out of here feels a bit different because of the high ceilings and the way the shadows fall in the afternoon. We don't have flashy signs or anything. It is just our team inside, dealing with consultancy work as it comes. Most of the day is spent looking at documents or talking to people who drop by. The Civil Lines area is nice because it is away from the main chaos of the city market, though you still get the occasional loud horn from the street. Our desks are a bit cluttered with papers and pens. We usually have lunch together in the small back room. It is a simple routine we have built over the years. Some of the floor tiles are a bit worn down, but we don't mind much. It gives the place character. Jaipur gets very bright, so we keep the blinds drawn most of the time to see our screens better. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a receptionist. If you walk in, you just see us working. We just try to get the numbers and the advice right for everyone. It is a steady way to spend the week.
