A B Battery

A B Battery is over at M-6 in Transport Nagar. If you have ever been to Transport Nagar, you know it is a place where there is grease on the ground and the smell of old tires in the air. Our shop at M-6 is right in the heart of all that. We deal with batteries all day long, so our hands are usually a bit dirty. The shop is filled with stacks of heavy batteries and some tools lying around on the benches. It is not the kind of place where you would want to wear your best clothes. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep the receipts and the cash box. Most of the day is spent moving things around or checking the charge on different units. People come in with their trucks or cars, and we just handle whatever they need right there on the spot. It is a very physical job. The neighbors are mostly mechanics or other parts suppliers, so we all know each other. We often send someone out to grab chai for the whole block in the afternoon. It gets pretty loud with all the hammering and engine testing going on nearby, but we don't mind it much. We just focus on the task at hand and try to keep things moving. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day in a busy part of town.
