Our place is out in Budhauuda Village, tucked away in the Krishna district. We’ve been using Post Box No. 9 for a long time now. If you are coming down to S.No. 99, you’ll find our site easily enough. It’s a quiet area mostly, aside from the sound of the machinery running. We spend most of our time out in the yard or checking the inventory. It isn't a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. The trucks roll in early in the morning and we spend the rest of the day getting things organized. Being in a village means we know most of the people who live around here. Sometimes the roads aren't great, especially after a big storm, so we have to plan ahead. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It's just a bunch of us making sure the cement is ready to go. The sun gets really hot out here, but there is usually a bit of a breeze. We have a routine that we stick to. First we check the gates, then we look at the orders for the day. It’s practical work. Jaypee Cement Corporation Ltd. has been part of this landscape for a while. We don’t really change much, just keep doing what we do. It’s about being there when the builders need their supplies and making sure the trucks don't sit empty.
