Anjani Portland Cement Ltd.

Our place is Unit No. 22 in Pimphalpalam Village, over in Nerilacheru Mandal in the Nalgonda district. It is a bit of a drive out here, but we like having the extra space for the facility. Anjani Portland Cement Ltd runs this unit and it is a big operation with a lot of moving parts every day. There is always dust in the air and the constant sound of the grinders running in the background. We spend our shifts making sure the machinery is doing what it is supposed to and nothing breaks down. It is not a job for people who mind getting their hands dirty. The village is usually quiet, but our unit is the heart of the activity around here. We have a lot of local guys working the different shifts. Sometimes we have issues with the power or parts needing repair, and that slows things down for everyone. We do not have a fancy reception area for visitors. If you come by, you will probably find us near the loading docks or checking bags in the warehouse. We keep track of the batches and make sure the loading stays on schedule so the trucks can leave. The weather out here in Nalgonda gets really hot in the summer, which makes the physical work even harder. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. It is about being practical and keeping the production line moving.
