Super Cement Pipe Industries

Our place is out in the Richhai Industrial Area, at number 57. Super Cement Pipe Industries is exactly what it sounds like. We make pipes. It's dusty work and the sun gets pretty hot out here in the yard, but we’re used to it. Most days start early before the heat really kicks in. We have the molds set up and the cement arrives, then it’s just a matter of getting the work done right. The trucks come in and out all day, picking up loads for different projects around the city. It’s loud because of the machinery, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and know most of the guys in the neighboring units. It’s not the kind of job where you wear a suit. You’re going to get some concrete on your boots by lunchtime. We just focus on making sure the pipes are solid and ready to go. There’s a lot of waiting for things to dry, which gives us time to check the equipment or grab a quick bite. People come to us because they know where we are and they know we’ve been making these pipes for years. It’s simple, honest work that keeps the infrastructure moving. We don't do much fancy stuff here, just get the concrete poured and the pipes loaded up for the next job. It is just another day out here in the industrial sector.
