Kanhaiya Traders

If you are looking for Kanhaiya Traders, we are right at Shop No S 4 in Adarsh Nagar. It is a decent spot in Rampur, especially being so close to the Bank of Baroda. Most people use the bank as a landmark when they are trying to find us for the first time. We spend most of our day inside this shop, surrounded by stock and the sound of the ceiling fan clicking away. It is not a huge place, but we have managed to fit everything we need into these four walls over the years. The mornings are usually the best time because it is quiet before the midday rush starts. We see a lot of people walking by on their way to do their banking or heading into town for groceries. Rampur is the kind of place where you get to know everyone's face after a few weeks of working here. We aren't trying to be anything we are not; we are just a local business trying to keep things moving. There is always something to do, whether it is counting inventory or sweeping the dust off the front step. Sometimes we get a bit behind on things, but we eventually catch up. It is just me and a couple of others mostly. We share tea in the afternoon and talk about what needs to be finished before we close up. Adarsh Nagar is a busy area but we have found our rhythm here.
