Kanak Caterers & Event Organisers

You can find us over in Sadar Bazer at Street No 7, right inside Swamin Jewellers. It’s a bit of an unusual spot, being opposite Gupta Sweet Mart, but it works for us. Kanak Caterers & Event Organisers has been serving the Jabalpur community for quite a few years now. We do two things: we cook food and we help organize events. It started out with just catering, but people kept asking for help with tents and lights, so we added that too. We aren't some big corporate entity with fancy brochures. We're local people who know what a good meal should taste like. Our kitchen is always humming with activity, especially when there’s a big order for a wedding or a community feast. We use recipes that have been around for a long time because that's what people like. Sometimes the logistics of an event can be a headache, but we’ve learned how to manage the stress over time. We don't make big promises we can't keep. If we say we’ll have the food ready by five, we do our best to make sure it’s there. Working out of Sadar Bazer means we’re right in the heart of the city’s trade. We see our neighbors every day and that keeps us honest. It’s a hands-on business where we’re involved in every step, from buying the ingredients to serving the guests at the end.
