If you are looking for us, we are right at Russel Chowk. Hotel Samdariya Inn has been a part of this area for a long time. Russel Chowk is a pretty busy intersection, so there is always a lot of noise and movement right outside our windows. It’s the kind of place where you can see the whole city passing by if you stand on the sidewalk for a few minutes. We don't have any glossy brochures or big fancy signs. We are just a hotel that people use when they need a place to sleep in the middle of town. Our daily routine is pretty basic. We wake up, check the rooms, do the laundry, and wait for the next person to check in. The building is okay, it has its good days and its bad days like any other place. Sometimes the lift acts up or a lightbulb goes out when you least expect it. We just handle it as it comes. We’ve got a small crew here, and we all know each other well. It’s not a high-pressure job, but it keeps us busy enough. We like being at the Chowk because everything is close by. You can walk out the door and find almost anything you need. We’re just regular people running a regular business, trying to keep things going as best as we can without making a big fuss about it. We’ve been here a long time now.
