Murali Krishnan

I’m Murali Krishnan and I operate out of Thevalil House in Methala. Being in Kodungallur, specifically in the Trissur district, means things move at a slightly different pace than in the big cities. I’ve lived here my whole life, and this house has been in my family for quite some time. It’s where I do all my work. I don't have a staff of twenty people or a flashy website. It’s just me, a desk, and a phone. Most of my day is spent talking to people and trying to sort out whatever needs doing. The local post office at Methala is just a short walk away, which is convenient because I still do a lot of things by mail. People in Trissur value knowing who they are dealing with, and I think that’s why I’ve managed to keep going for so long. I don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone. I just tell it like it is. If I can help, I will. If I can't, I’ll tell you that too. The weather here can be a bit much during the monsoon, and sometimes I have to stop working because the rain on the roof is so loud I can’t hear myself think. But I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. This is home, and this is where I work.
